Since 2014, Dan has managed TES’s Natural Resources Group. He received his B.S. Degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Wildlife Biologist (The Wildlife Society).
During his previous employment over the past 30 years, he served as an Environmental Practice Manager with engineering consulting firms. Dan has directed the performance of various services including the preparation and coordination of environmental documentation in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act; Section 404/Section 10 waters of the U.S. (including wetlands) evaluation, delineation, permitting and mitigation planning; threatened and endangered species habitat investigations; assessment of vegetation assemblages and tree surveys; environmental baseline studies; and, similar services for a variety of public and private sector clients.
At TES, Dan manages the Natural Resources Group’s performance of various environmental services for a variety of clients including the oil & gas industry, economic development corporations, commercial development interests, attorneys, engineering firms and other clients.
He has a comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience pertaining to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Section 404/Section 10 Regulatory Program being attributed to his previous employment with the USACE as a senior wetland biologist and his primary practice focus over the past 30 years. Dan also holds various Texas Department of Transportation precertification categories relative to the performance of environmental investigations, analyses and documentation.
