Shannon Southerlin

Biologist

With a passion for protecting sensitive wetlands and ecosystems throughout the state of Texas, Shannon brings over 8 years of consulting experience to Titanium Environmental Services. From coordinating field teams for environmental surveys to submitting complex permit applications to agencies like USACE, USFWS, TCEQ, and RRC, Shannon plays a pivotal role in guiding projects through the regulatory maze, especially in the oil and gas, utility, and industrial sectors. Her GIS mapping skills and deep understanding of environmental compliance ensure both ecological integrity and operational efficiency.

Holding a B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Fish & Wildlife Management, Shannon has also pursued advanced training in wetland delineation and herpetology. She's a certified Master Herpetologist and holds HAZWOPER and regulatory policy training, making her an asset in fieldwork and emergency spill response alike. Shannon’s expertise bridges science and compliance, ensuring ecologically responsible outcomes that align with both client goals and regulatory requirements.

In her free time, Shannon enjoys a variety of outdoor and enriching activities that reflect her love for nature and active living. She often spends weekends hiking scenic trails, kayaking on local waterways, and camping in remote areas to unwind and reconnect with the natural world. As an avid runner, she regularly competes in trail running races across Texas, finding both physical challenge and mental clarity in the sport. At home, Shannon also loves spending time in her garden and on her patio, where she finds satisfaction in nurturing plants and creating a peaceful space. She also treasures time spent with her two dachshunds, Sally and Bindi, who are constant companions on both quiet evenings and weekend adventures.
