Environmental Scientist Jana Holt is a TES Environmental Scientist and has been with the company since February 2001. While obtaining her Master’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin University, Jana completed a one-year study on six streams within the Angelina National Forest in which she analyzed over 12 different physicochemical parameters in order to establish a base knowledge of the water quality in publicly impacted streams. Her studies also included wastewater analysis, environmental law, and environmental chemistry. In addition to her degree, Jana held a summer internship with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in the Surface Water Quality Monitoring division. During her internship with the TCEQ, she assisted in collecting water, soil, and biological samples from numerous East Texas lakes and streams, assisted in special water studies, and conducted qualitative and quantitative assessments of stream habitats. Jana is currently a member of the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT).Jana specializes in industrial air permitting. She also offers expertise in oil and gas industry regulatory compliance. Utilizing her background in education, Jana has developed stormwater and SPCC training programs and conducts employee training sessions at many of our clients' facilities.
